Fresh Produce Safety Training in Western N.C.
January 11, 25, and February 8, 2010, 9 to 11:30 a.m.
N.C. Cooperative Extension agents from the West District will conduct the Tier 1 N.C. MarketReady Fresh Produce Safety—Field to Family training workshop at the Mountain Horticulture Research and Extension Center located at 455 Research Dr. in Mills River, NC. The seven-hour training will be divided into three sessions on Mondays January 11, January 25 and February 8 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The fee for the training is only $15/person. Tailgate market vendors are encouraged to take part in the training.
